Our brand new Raceskin wetsuits use a unique panel design with varying neoprene thicknesses to ensure ultimate flexibility, buoyancy and comfort. Designed, developed and tested for triathletes by professional (including ex-world champion) triathletes, they are now available in the UK for the 2019 race season.
The Raceskin SUMMA wetsuit was developed for triathletes that want to perform at the highest level possible. It has a unique panel design with varying neoprene thicknesses to ensure ultimate flexibility. The neck, shoulders and side panels use a 1.5mm or 2mm thickness for maximum upper body movement. 5mm central chest and hip panels increase buoyancy and ensure the distance of each stroke is maximised. Made from Yamamoto Super Composite Skin 39, one of the most advanced neoprene fabrics, (SCS) is the benchmark for coating the smooth skin neoprene in triathlon wetsuits. Yamamoto is the world leader in wetsuit neoprene and prides itself on quality and innovation. The SUMMA is optimised for flexibility and weight, it has been combined with Aerodome panels that have air bubbles built between the fabric layers, producing up to 30% more buoyancy than conventional neoprene this all reduces friction and improves speed through the water. All Raceskin suits have a reserve style YKK zip, that the athlete zips from the top down. meaning other athletes can’t pull your zipper down during the swim.
